Music featuring in my car today 22/04/2010

I am actually a punk rock/emo/screamo/hardcore music lover by heart, but i also like indie and, well, lots of other bands as well, as long as i can relate with the emotion created by the mixture of the music and the lyrics, i like it. Thats why im not a fan of instrumental music (in general)

Ok, there's actually a weird mix in my CD pouch at the moment, and this is what is in it:

Funeral for a friend (Memory an Humanity)
Memory and Humanity i think is again one of FFAF's most awesome CD's because they have brought back their harder and more upbeat feel from their earlier albums, but also mixed in some of the beauty from "The Great Wide Open, which got a little boring for me at times".

Alkaline trio (This Addiction)
Ah, Alkaline trio with all their dark irony.... I love it tho! But this album im sorry to say was a bit.... average... This addiction is the best track, then there's a few more cool ones... the rest, i dont NOT like it, but i dont love it.... its just.... average... .but i will still buy their next album.

The Vandals (Look What I Almost Stepped In) & (Hitler Bad Vandals Good)

This band is hilarious, holy Shit!!! Its a weird feeling driving alone in your car and singing along to this and laughing so hard at the same time that your eyes tear up.... then realizing the car next to you has been laughing at you for the last 4 blocks, cus you look so rediculous!!
but they are amazing, fukn sharp lyrics! and it takes you months to decifer what he is singing cus he sings super fast, but when you GET IT, is like a revelation of funnyness!!

Every Time I Die (Gutter Phenomenon)
What can I say.... Madness!!! This album is just insane, it never stops and goes.... ok, here's a break down... no... just hits you in the face like a anime movie, slomo, for like an half an hour, then BAM!! knocked the fuk out!

-
The Bled (Silent Treatment)
haha!! this album cover reminds me of Kung Pow, somehow... anyway... yeah this album is hard. not all awesomeness for me... some cool parts that i like, so i listen out for those, but i guess its a good one.

-
Billy Talent (I & II & III)
All the Billy Talent albums are awsome!!! I think the III'rd one is maybe slightly less awsome, but the other two definately some of the best storytelling and creative music I have heard in sooooo long!! This will always be in my car!

-
The Hives (Veni Vedi Vicious)

I have gone through a redescovering of The Hives and its sick! You just cant help partying to this music. Doesnt matter if i have a hangover, a shitty day at work, just broke up with my gf, dog shat in front of your room... nothing. You will get amped! Hahaha!! people have laughed at me soooo hard for partying in my car in traffic! Quite embarresing actually, but i'll keep on doing it!
Thanks The Hives. hehe!

Taking back sunday (New Again)
It was obviously hard to follow such a rad album "Louder now", and almost anything would be dissapointing.... But "New Again" is actually very very good! I really enjoi this album alot and its one of those that grow on you the more you listen to it. and thats usually the best ones. So... RAD, but not as rad as Louder now.
-
Escape the fate (This war is ours)
Escape the Fate is just the shitballs!! Their previous album, "There's no sympathy for the dead" was the perfect mix between good clean vox and screaming and the style was emo/metal all in one!!! but not too metal that you feel all metally but just enough, to make the guitar sick!! This war is ours, has a new vocalist for the band, because the previous vocalist is in jail after apparently killing someone and ironically tried to escape his fate by running to Las Vegas... well thats the hear-say version... new vocalist, in my opinion, better in vocals, but Ronnie Radke was Rad'er!

I think im goin to end there, there is still Less than Jake, Thursday and many more, but i'll talk about them next time... I might actually have to do some work today...
